This is the most common issue. Please enter the UniFi OS settings page and remove the device from your cloud account. If not removed, the device will become “locked,” and we cannot proceed with the buyback.

Locate the small Reset hole on the device body and press and hold it with a paperclip for 10-15 seconds until the light flashes. This ensures your network settings and private data are thoroughly erased.
